Chloë Ryan

CEO & Founder @ Acrylic Robotics

She founded Acrylic Robotics at age 20, in hersecond year of engineering; turned $50k into hundreds of thousands of funding; recruited and managed theirtechnical teams across robotics, software, machine learning, mechanical design; was offered (declined) $750k in total on Dragon's Den; and has pitched to thousands on stages from Montreal to Lisbon to San Francisco.

Before Acrylic, she started herfirst business at age 9 and raised $14k for charity by age 14; worked as a freelance artist from age 14 onwards; competed at the elite AAA level in multiple sports in my teens; at 19, founded & scaled Canada's first national-scale sustainability case competition (BRIDGE --www.bridgecasecomp.com); and held leadership roles on dozens of engineering committees in her undergrad at McGill.

She has been named Next Canada's "Top Next 36 Entrepreneur", the US Consulate of Montreal's "Top Woman in Tech for Good", C2 Montreal's Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, Pierre Peladeau's "Top 5 Entrepreneurs", and Acrylic has won Centech's "Top Tech Innovation Prize" and GRIT's "Top 10 Canadian Startups to Watch", among other accolades.

She is passionate about the future of AI, robots and art, and she has given talks across the world on subjects like the definition of creativity, AI & robot ethics, collaborative robots, intersection of art & technology, strategies for growing a team, and how to kickstart and support female & minority entrepreneurs.
