Paria Esmatloo

Ph.D. Candidate

Paria Esmatloo received her BSc in mechanical engineering from Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Iran. She received her MSc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and is continuing with her PhD in the area of dynamic systems and control. She works in the Rehabilitation and Neuromuscular (ReNeu) Robotics Lab. Her research involves development and control of robots for rehabilitation and assistance for affected populations. She utilizes biosignals (such as electromyography), machine learning, and robot control to improve rehabilitation and assistance for the hand through hand exoskeletons.
